SHIBUYA / SHINSEN ― YAKINIKU KURODA
Yakiniku Kuroda is a Japanese barbecue restaurant in Maruyamacho, Shibuya, Tokyo. We select only lean cuts from A5-grade Japanese Black wagyu and finish them with our own sauces and condiments. Table seating on the first floor, private and semi-private rooms on the second, and smokeless grills throughout. Open every day from 17:00 until 4:00 the following morning.

Concept
Kuroda began with a simple wish: to cook for people who love lean beef. From A5-grade Japanese Black wagyu we take only the tender, deeply savoury lean cuts — the kind of flavour that grows the longer you chew, and that heavily marbled beef cannot give you.
Our signature Premium Loin is steeped in a house soy marinade with garlic and ginger. Kuroda-yaki takes a beautifully marbled premium cut and coats it in a rich soft-boiled egg. Do also try our house condiments, such as the mozuku-seaweed and pepper tsukudani — combinations you will not find elsewhere.
Twenty table seats on the first floor and twelve seats in private and semi-private rooms on the second, thirty-two in total. Every table has a smokeless grill, so you need not worry about the smell lingering on your clothes.

SIGNATURE 03
Lightly torched just before serving for a toasted aroma. Mix in the yolk, wrap it in Korean seaweed. Barely seasoned, so the beef speaks for itself.

The Kuroda way. Spoon over our bubbling spring-onion ajillo and the sweetness of the onion lifts the flavour of the tongue.

A clear broth with chicken chashu and lemon, finished with charred spring onion. Exactly right to end the meal.
